Responsibilities
  • You will sort, wash, dry, and fold hotel linens and towels according to established procedures.
  • We expect you to maintain a clean and organized laundry area at all times.
  • You shall operate washing and drying machines efficiently, ensuring the proper use of detergents and chemicals.
  • You will inspect linens for quality and report any damaged or stained items to the supervisor.
  • We expect you to handle guest requests for additional towels or linens promptly and with excellent customer service.
  • You shall keep track of inventory and notify the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
  • You will assist with other housekeeping duties such as cleaning public areas and restocking amenities as needed.
  • We expect you to follow all safety guidelines and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements
  • As a Laundry Attendant at Holiday Inn Bowling Green, you must have excellent time management skills to ensure that laundry is completed in a timely manner.
  • You should be able to lift heavy loads of laundry and stand for long periods of time, as this role involves physical labor.
  • We expect you to have good communication skills so that you can effectively coordinate with other team members regarding laundry needs and priorities.
  • Attention to detail is crucial in this role as you will be responsible for inspecting linens and garments for stains, damage, or wear and tear.
  • You must follow established procedures and standards for sorting, washing, drying, folding, and storing laundry items.
  • It is important that you are able to navigate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and steam presses, following safety guidelines and instructions.
  • You should demonstrate a high level of professionalism and integrity when handling guest belongings, ensuring confidentiality and respecting privacy.
  • As a Laundry Attendant, you must maintain cleanliness and organization within the laundry area, including machines, supplies, and storage areas.
