Embassy Suites UK Coldstream is seeking a skilled and motivated Kitchen Steward to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
  • You shall maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
  • We expect you to organize and store food supplies appropriately to ensure freshness and prevent spoilage.
  • You will assist with the receiving and storage of deliveries, verifying quantities and quality of items.
  • We expect you to maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping and mopping floors regularly.
  • You shall support the kitchen team by assisting in basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
  • We expect you to handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of waste.
  • You will adhere to all health and safety regulations, including wearing appropriate protective clothing and following proper handwashing techniques.
  • We expect you to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors, reporting any issues or concerns promptly.

Requirements
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
  • Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and readily available for use.
  • Safely handle and store hazardous materials such as cleaning agents and chemicals.

  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
