We are seeking a highly motivated Houseman to join our team at Holiday Inn Bowling Green!

As a Houseman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of our hotel, providing a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests.

You will collaborate closely with our housekeeping team, assisting with various tasks such as cleaning public areas, replenishing supplies, and responding to guest requests. Your attention to detail and ability to anticipate the needs of our guests will be key in delivering exceptional service.

  • You shall clean and maintain guest facing areas, as well as back of the house associate areas.
  • We expect you to replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels in the storage rooms.
  • You will assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and delivering linens.
  • We require you to promptly respond to guest requests for housekeeping services.
  • You shall vacuum and mop floors, ensuring cleanliness throughout the guest hallways.
  • We expect you to empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
  • You will assist Room Attendants in removing dirty linen and trash from guest rooms.
  • We require you to report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department.

  • You must have the ability to lift and carry heavy objects, such as furniture and equipment, to ensure efficient cleaning and setup of guest rooms and public areas.
  • We expect you to be reliable and punctual in order to meet our guests' needs and maintain a well-functioning housekeeping schedule.
  • You should possess excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and address any guest concerns or special requests.
  • We require you to have good time management skills to prioritize tasks and complete them within designated time frames.
  • You must demonstrate attention to detail in order to ensure cleanliness and tidiness throughout the hotel by properly following cleaning procedures and replenishing supplies.
  • We value your problem-solving abilities as you may need to resolve minor maintenance issues or assist guests with technical difficulties related to their stay.
  • You should exhibit a friendly and approachable demeanor to make our guests feel welcome and comfortable during their stay at our hotel.
