Primary Purpose:

The primary purpose of the Grill Attendant is to ensure that guests have an excellent experience as it relates to their meals, beverages and interactions.

Work Performed:

The Grill Attendant will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:

  • Present menu s , answer questions, and suggest food and beverage items ;
  • T ake food and beverage orders , R elay orders to kitchen , and serve orders to guests in a timely manner ;
  • Monito r tables ensuring all patrons are served in accordance with established protocols ;
  • Clear and clean tables as needed ;
  • Compute bill and accepts payment , including track ing sales receipts;
  • Ensure tips are reported properly for tax processing;
  • Maintain wait station by keeping area tidy and stocks glasses, silverware and other related supplies; and
  • Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.


Qualifications:

Required Prior Experience:

Prior customer service experience

Preferred Prior Experience:

Prior cash handling experience

Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Required Licenses/ Certification:

Food Safety Trainingcertifiedor become certified within first 60 days of employment.

Alcohol Awareness certifiedor become certified within first 60 days of employment

Preferred Technology:

Previous experience with Micros operating system

Physical:

A ble to lift a minimum of 50lbs occasionally and a minimum of 15lbs regularly

Able to bend and squat repeatedly

Able to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift

Other:

F lexible to work day shifts, early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
