Job Description:

The Front Desk Associate is a pivotal member of our team, serving as the primary point of contact for guests. This role requires extensive knowledge of the hotel, its amenities, and the local area. As a Front Desk Associate, you will interact with guests and team members throughout the day, making excellent verbal and written communication skills essential. A friendly, engaging personality is a must. Additionally, you will work extensively within our Property Management System, so computer proficiency is required. The position requires the ability to stand for the duration of your shift, as well as flexibility regarding workdays, early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Provide information about the hotel's services, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle guest inquiries.
  • Utilize the Property Management System for reservations, billing, and guest information.
  • Handle guest requests and resolve issues promptly and courteously.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth operation.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including security and confidentiality.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outgoing and engaging personality.
  • Ability to quickly learn and use computer systems.
  • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
  • Flexibility with working days, early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Provide exceptional customer service by being engaging and taking sincere interest
  • Check guests in, ensuring proper credit is received, special requests are noted and fulfilled, and accurate information is established
  • You will assist guests with sending and receiving faxes, packages and mail

  • Help to resolve problems through recovery when things aren't quite right

  • You will be committed to the equitable treatment of all associates and guests as well as equal access to opportunities and resources for all, at every level of the organization.

  • You will look for ways to become an expert on the local area, being able to answer inquires pertaining to hotel services, registration, shopping, dining, and travel directions

  • As needed, fulfill all job responsibilities expected of Shuttle Driver and Concierge Attendant
  • Interact with hotel/resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information
