We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our team at Holiday Inn Bowling Gree.

As a crucial member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our food service operations.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with our chefs and kitchen staff to ensure that dishes, utensils, and equipment are cleaned and sanitized to meet our high standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will contribute to providing excellent dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for ensuring all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards.
• We expect you to operate the dishwasher efficiently and effectively, including loading and unloading dishes in a timely manner.
• You shall maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area at all times by sweeping and mopping the floor, wiping down countertops, and emptying trash as needed.
• We expect you to assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling vegetables, chopping fruits, or portioning ingredients when required.
• You will need to properly handle and store cleaning supplies, following instructions provided on labels, and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
• We expect you to communicate and coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure a smooth flow of clean dishes and utensils for meal service.
• You shall adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding health, safety, and sanitation to maintain a hygienic working environment.
• We expect you to actively participate in training sessions and meetings to stay updated on new techniques, products, and equipment related to your role.

Requirements

• You must be able to efficiently clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• You should have excellent time management skills to ensure the timely completion of dishwashing tasks.
• We expect you to maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area, following proper sanitation protocols.
• You must be physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects, such as trays and pots.
• We value your ability to work well within a team, collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
• You should possess strong attention to detail, ensuring that dishes are properly cleaned and spot-free before being stored.
• We require you to follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times to prevent accidents or injuries in the workplace.
• You must be flexible with your schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as our business operates during these times.
