At Holiday Inn Bowling Green, we are seeking Banquet Set Up and Servers to join our team. As key members of our banquet team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of events and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

In these positions, you will be responsible for setting up banquet rooms, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and other necessary items. Or you will assist with serving food and beverages, providing attentive service to our guests.

  • You shall set up banquet rooms according to the event order, including setting tables and chairs, arranging table settings, and ensuring all necessary equipment is in place.
  • We expect you to provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking their orders, and serving food and beverages promptly and accurately.
  • You will work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to the banquet rooms.
  • We expect you to maintain cleanliness and organization in the banquet areas, including clearing tables, cleaning dishes, and replenishing supplies as needed.
  • You shall communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and guests to ensure smooth operations and exceed guest expectations.
  • We expect you to adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
  • You will assist in the setup and breakdown of audiovisual equipment and other special requests for events.
  • We expect you to be proactive in anticipating guest needs and responding quickly to any requests or concerns they may have.

  • You must be able to set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and other necessary items.
  • We expect you to provide excellent customer service by promptly attending to guests' needs during events.
  • You should have a good understanding of food and beverage service procedures in order to efficiently serve guests at banquets.
  • You need to be physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment, such as tables and chairs, for room setup.
  • We require you to have strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and ensure seamless event execution.
  • You must be proactive in identifying and addressing any maintenance or cleanliness issues in the banquet space to uphold our quality standards.
  • It is essential that you possess outstanding organizational skills to keep track of multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly during fast-paced events.
